Local activities

Different activities are foreseen by the partners. Besides the characterisation of different hospital waste water, all partners identify key pharmaceuticals which are to be focused on. In this context some partners focus on isolated streams resulting from a special deartment and others assess the total flow of a hospital.

Furthermore it is foreseen to build pilot plants in Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg and The Netherlands in order to assess the challenges and possibilities of the local treatment of pharmaceutically burdened waste water.
